This guide covers how to invite vendors and what settings to use to achieve your goals for the relationship.
As a buyer, your interactions with Convictional center around your purchasing process. The first step in forming a new trading partner relationship are inviting them to the Convictional network. To do that, there are a few things you'll want to consider and setup, to make sure you have the best experience possible.
1. Create a partner
The first step is to create a partner. When you login to Convictional, go to Partners, then click Create:
Alternatively, you can click "Invite Partner" from the quick actions menu from any screen:
2. Partner setup
A new screen will pop over, giving you the ability to create a partner. Everything starts with the email address of the partner. Fill that in for your point of contact there:
Select "Supplier" as the relationship type. If you would like to do integrated purchasing with this vendor, turn Sync Active to the on position. If not, leave it turned off.
3. Invite partner
The last step is to invite the partner. You can do this when you create them, or later on. Most of the time, you'll want to Create and Invite the partner. Occasionally you can opt just to create them:
Creating a partner is the first step in forming a new trade relationship. Your partner will receive an email invite, providing them with a way to join the Convictional network and start trading with you.
